Join us to celebrate the release of Ingenious: A Biography of Benjamin Franklin, Scientist by Hinsdale author Richard Munson. Ingenious was named a Fall 2024 Top Ten pick by Publisher's Weekly!
Ingenious tells the story of Ben Franklin, Scientist. Though he is known more for his political prowess and diplomatic creativity, Franklin was also one of the most cutting-edge researchers of his time, with his interests ranging from electricity, to heat, ocean currents, weather patterns, chemical bonds, and even to plants. Munson will discuss this vital part of Franklin’s story and his modern relevance, and also share information about the writing of this biography.
Copies will be available for library checkout starting on November 12th and will also be available for sale and signing at the event.
